Political satirist and bestselling author Christopher Buckley is the author of twelve books, including the novels The White House Mess, Little Green Men and Thank You for Smoking. Fortune magazine has declared Buckley, “the quintessential political novelist of his time,” and author Tom Wolfe has called him, “One of the funniest writers in the English language.” Buckley’s most recent work, Losing Mum and Pup: A Memoir, chronicles his efforts to cope with the passing of his mother, Patricia Buckley, and father, author William F. Buckley.
Each season the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation's William N. Skirball Writers Center Stage Series strives to present an outstanding and diverse representation of the contemporary literary world as it adds to the area’s great cultural offerings.
