Services for Guests with Disabilities

The theaters offer barrier-free environments for your theater-going convenience. Seating locations, restrooms and drinking fountains are provided for wheelchair guests.

Audio Description for Visually Impaired Guests
Audio description for individuals who are visually impaired is available for select performances courtesy of the Cleveland Sight Center. This service provides an opportunity for guests with impairment to listen to a description of the non-verbal aspects of a live performance. A trained audio describer communicates the set design, costumes, facial expressions, body language, and movement of the actors during pauses in the dialogue. Small, closed circuit receivers are used to broadcast this live from the sound booth to an earpiece worn by visually impaired guests; other guests do not hear this information.

The Cleveland Sight Center will try to accommodate special requests made for additional performance dates. Please call 216-791-8118, ext. 303, two weeks in advance to make a special request for additional dates.
