What is the Euclid Corridor Project?
The Euclid Corridor Transportation Project, also known as the Healthline, is a $168 million transit improvement project stretching 6.7 miles from Public Square to University Circle. The project will incorporate new sidewalks, road ways, a center median for loading and unloading transit vehicles, new transit stops, and streetscape enhancements such as landscaping, seating, pedestrian-scaled lighting, and public art.
When will the project be completed?
The Grand Opening took place October 24-25, 2008.
What does the project mean for downtown Cleveland and PlayhouseSquare?
With the completion & grand opening of the Euclid Corridor Project/ Healthline, Cleveland is once again in the spotlight. Nationally, the ribbon cutting this past October represents the completion of the first federally-funded Bus Rapid Transit Line in the country. Sleek new HealthLine hybrid- electric buses will move passengers along the Euclid Avenue corridor from Public Square to University Circle in 12 minutes flat. This fast transportation link between downtown and University Circle will allow our guests new options of coming to PlayhouseSquare to see a performance or to dine in one our fine area restaurants.
Rates for the Healthline are as follows:
$2.00- One-trip pass(2 hour trip)
$4.50- All day unlimited pass
$20.00- Seven day (weekly) unlimited

How will the project affect your visit to PlayhouseSquare?
There are no new road closures or parking obstructions. Parking is still available in the PlayhouseSquare Parking Garage located on E. 15th and Chester or at the Hanna Garage across from the Hanna Theatre on E.14th.
Guests should note that there are new traffic patterns and lanes to help the Healthline and bussing system successfully run along Euclid Avenue. Please refer to the Euclid Avenue Safety Tip pamphlet from RTA for information on bussing lanes, traffic signals and traffic safety for bus riders, drivers and pedestrians.
